Default Got this from Porsche

Dear Mr. ____,

Given the care you have put into your Porsche, it may not come as a surprise to you that your local dealer is interested in your vehicle.
According to our records, your 2012 911 has the same impeccable quality and engineering integrity expected from a new Porsche vehicle. In short, it’s just as heart-stopping as the day you bought it. Well done.
If you are interested in selling your vehicle, please click below to login to the My Porsche portal with your Porsche ID.

We have recently added a new feature to My Porsche that allows you to notify your preferred authorized Porsche dealer, who will contact you to discuss the next steps.

Best Regards,

Your Porsche Team

Has anyone else gotten this?
Is it common practice for PNA to want to buy cars back?

I would like to think that 991.1 C2S will start gaining value, so PNA sees them as investments.

It's just a marketing to get you to think about a new car.

That's what my wife thought... Wouldn't they mention trade in or send some sort of loyalty discount offer like the other brands?

The NA enthusiasts on the forum would agree with you. The last of the NA Carreras will hold value very well (and likely go up in value with time). Now, the 911 NA enthusiast is left only with the GT cars. Epic cars, for sure, the GT3 and RS, but there is something to be said for an NA engine in a 911 that is not always in beast mode. My GTS is a far better daily driver than my Touring, but that is just me. Nothing wrong with daily driving a Touring but spending 45 minutes in bumper to bumper traffic, going 5-10 mph in my Touring is not my idea of fun. I save my Touring for times when I can drive the car the way it was meant to be driven - fast.

Check with the dealership that sent the letter to you on the amount they are willing give you for it.

When you recover, reconsider forum estimates of value!

But don't get angry at the dealership. The letter is one of many marketing letters they employ.

The email was sent directly from PNA.

Not looking to sell though.

its a different version of the same generic ploy to get you to come in and trade or buy

every brand does this.. usually attracts the most impulsive or uninformed..

I've gotten nearly identical missives from every car make I've bought. They want my car since they're any number of buyers want my car? I'm not that special.

It would be better if they flat out write to you and ask "if you have any interest in buying a new car, please contact us, we would like to get you in a new model".

My 911 is only one year old but that hasn't stopped both PNA and dealer from sending marketing material regularly.

I received the same offer, but by email. A thinly veiled marketing attempt.

I have received a version of that letter, multiple times, For my 2018 911GTS, starting before it was even a year old lol!

I am sure they would love for me to trade it in (low wholesale price) for a new one hahahahaha!

I received a letter from my local Porsche dealer offering me a trade value of $62K for my 2015 911 GTS with 15K miles. Car is a garage queen. Laughable offer!

OMG. You should take that letter to the dealer and tear it to pieces in front of their faces.

Received a letter from the dealer offering to buy my PGTS and goes on to says it’s not necessary to buy a car. No value mentioned but gave a web site to enter my information. They already have my info LOL. I also have a 2016 GTS club coupe. No mention of that one.
