My .2 doesn't appear to consume any oil, first changed @3700, again during the one year maintenance, about a week ago. As long as it stays within normal, I leave it alone.

In over 40 years of owning cars, I've added very little oil to any of my cars between oil changes, none to the "modern" cars I've owned since '80s.

Either lucky with motors or my break-in routine helps (change at <5K miles, slow RPMs till after the first change, then WOT several times and throughout their lives).

Have you needed to add oil?

Not so far but after looking at my oil level after a track weekend I think it might be a bit lower. I'll have to keep a closer eye on it to confirm anything but wanted to see if anyone had anecdotal or better info on it

As a reference point, mine has 60,000 km and I drive it almost every day. Mostly between 3000 and 6000 rpm and often go past 7000. PDK so never overrevs.

I consume 1/8 of a quart per 15,000 km.

Seems like very high oil consumption compared to mine.

Actualy, scratch that. My reference point was wrong.

i just remembered that I looked at my oil gauge once and it was missing 1/8 qt and I filled it. That was about 8000 km ago and it hasn’t consumed à drop since. And drive it at high revs all the time.

The real test will be in May when I take her to the track.

No apparent oil loss for me … My Targa has remained at the full level since delivery (10 months and 5,000 miles) whereas my GTS dropped a few bars below full after an oil change I went back for a top up (never went to the top line and was told not to worry about it). The oil level bounces between one and two bars below full since then apparently subject to oil temp (5 months and 2,500 miles).
