The window sticker on my 2015 C2S was stamped PCNA Car. I was told it was a PCNA executive car. It was a well equipped manual with sunroof in glass, and no PDCC or PCCB.

Back to the OP question of sunroof. If no sunroof required, I'd be looking at 991.1 GT3's with 10 year engine warranty.

GT cars they do not have sunroof.

Why a GTS should have?

Only you can answer this question. Buy a car for you not for the next buyer.

Sound advice. I was thinking really of trade in value, knowing myself I will probably want to trade it in for the 992.2 when it gets released in 3 years.

Thanks again.

I get bored with cars in less than a year and have made several bad financial decisions with cars due to my weakness. I think I found myself a keeper with my GTS.Shop wisely.

I would not get any 991.2 without glass roof. For some reason, I think the painted roof looks funny to me. But thats just Me.

If you are trading it in, dealers won’t care what option it has or not as long as it’s not a weird ext/int combo.

In:Re Sunroofs

Why put a hole in a perfectly good roof, and, adds weight at a terrible location.

Possibility of drainage issues, leaks, mechanical failure, eliminated with hardtop, particularly if you plan to keep your car for a long time.

If you cycle through cars within the warranty period, if you want it, go for it.

Not me.

Count me in the like a sunroof camp. I enjoy open top driving with the sports exhaust turned on. The Cayman is a great car but the lack of a sunroof makes it hard for me. Hence a Carrera.

I doubt it makes a difference, but no sunroof is definitely rarer. I've never seen a 911 GTS on a lot without a sunroof. Personally I would never own any 911 with a sunroof, so I ordered my GTS w/o sunroof. Quite frankly it never entered my mind about resale value. I wasn't buying the car for the next owner.

Default sunroof

Will not add value and having it may preclude you from some of the resale audience. I will not ever own a sports car with a sunroof and a fairly large enthusiast population feels the same. I also paid more for a car than I wanted to due to its not having a sunroof. Very few if any would say they wont own a sports car that doesnt have a sunroof or that they would pay more to have one. Even if you dont care about reducing structural rigidity by making a whole in a perfectly good roof they are reknowned for rattling, leaking and a host of other maladies. On a side note, most dogs really like them.

+1 for no sunroof. None in mine, but buy what you want, not what the next buyer wants out of your car.

Buy a car YOU like to drive and quit worrying about the next owners wants and needs.
I would see no sunroof as a plus for sure.

One more vote for no sunroof. I wanted the highest performance possible from my C4GTS (needed the AWD for winter driving and maximum launch acceleration). Sunroof is just extra weight and mechanical problems waiting to happen. RAS, PDCC, PASM sport, PCCB, PDK = goes faster, turns faster, stops faster. My only compromise on weight was the 18-way seats (really comfortable on long drives).
