Found a used 911 with 10,000 miles that is a comercial vehicle is this safe to buy?
So I found a 2013 911 with 10'000 miles it is said to be a comercial vehicle. It seems to me that only dealer ships have owned this car. It's been at the dealer ship for about 225 days now. I went and saw the car and it was quite beautiful with some minor scratches by the handle and the passanger inside of the door where the window slides in looked very slightly warped, like if it was from rain or sun maybe. I really like this car it is priced at $59,000.
I am just worried about the car being a commercial vehicle and why it has been at the dealership for so long. The car fax says about 3 different dealers have had it but it as listed as one owner. I think it has been sold at auctions twice now as a dealer vehicle. The car also has a clean history and has not been in any accidents. I am just very worried this car could maybe be a lemon because it seems like quite a good deal to me. I would really apreciate your guys help because I am seriously considering test driving the car, getting it checked out by a mechanic, and then buying it. I can afford repairs on it but I don't know what the **** I would do if it was a true lemon.

Yes, a listing would probably be helpful in this case. Seeing the carfax myself, I could probably get better info.
I have seen commercial vehicle 911's before. I am guessing this would be similar to a corporate vehicle on the Carfax, but who knows.

Sounds like the interior door panels need to be replaced.
Some basic (non leather) interior door panels seem to fall apart and pull away from the window.
These are not a cheap to replace so you should have the dealer replace before purchase.

Same goes for the tires - get the dealer to replace them. What did they say about the history? You might be able to get a good deal on it if they replace the things that need attention and see if you can get them to CPO it. Take it for a ride and let us know what you think, but do not pay what they are asking without checking back here when you give us more info!

First of all this P car is not a commercial vehicle, it’s a dealership owned car and the ownership count is in limbo. However nice cars don’t spend 8 months in inventory for a couple of reasons. They are priced too high or they have issues. Doesn’t sound like it’s at a P dealer. I would rather buy a 25K mile 911 from a P dealer with CPO than a 10K mile, no factory warranty, bad tires, warped door panels, and God forbid after market wheels. What a nightmare. Run away. My door panels were just replaced under CPO and the dealer told me the warranty claim was almost $5000. You can do much better. Keep shopping.

I bought a 2013 C2S CAB with CPO last April for 54,500, but it had 60k miles. The CPO trumps the mileage for me, all day long. That's a lot of money for a car with questionable ownership regardless of the low miles. Is this a S or base car? Have you ran the VIN with Porsche service to check history? You can start with the listed services contact phone numbers on the CarFax report

If you have a 60 K budget you can do better. Or get a much better deal on this one
So it's silver over black, 3.4, PDK, very basic build no pse,sc. It's missing the removable bolsters on the backseats that cover the LATCH mounts. All pictures have the spoiler up and the engine lid isn't sitting right.

Unless you're ready to fork over a wad of money on this car if things go south, walk away.
Ask for the service history of the car, if it isn't available, you won't know what was done, so you would have to bring all that up to date. Not knowing if anyone owned it for any extended period of time also makes what level of use/abuse it has gone through an unknown.
For 59k you can buy yourself some very capable NEW sports cars with full warranty, a Supra comes to mind.
The Porsche siren is singing her song to you, don't end up on the rocks needlessly.
Good luck.
