Default Nice PTS GTS

Was visiting family in NJ and decided to stop by Paul Miller Porsche. Saw some nice 911. Was surprised to see a handful of 911.2 GTS. This one was interesting. They had one GTS that was discounted about 30k. What color is this? It's a yellow with some green in it?

The last time I saw that color, it was in a diaper.

My guess is non metallic Olive Green. Eduardo would know for sure but he hasn't been around here for a while.

It is fairly yellow with some green. My photo ales it look more green that I thought it was. Some one but it. Since there dropped the price of a GTS 30k via window sticker, there should be room on the one with 13K paint job.

I thought I would never see a manual Targa that I did not like...first time for everything and the spoiler is even up!

Birch Green on a PTS 2016 911R currently for sale:

Looks pretty good to me. Might as well have an interesting color than the usual.

That looks better for some reason - calipers? It would even be better on a GT3 or similar, but it just does not work on that Targa. And the interior is very boring.

This was a spoiler up dealership. Quite a few on the front lawn in salutation mode. They had a black on black T also. Always fun to walk the lot on a Sunday when no one is around.

To each their own but I cannot see how someone thinks the car looks better with the spoiler up. At times I think about my spoiler being up at 100+ and cringe that others have to see that spoiler!

Don't forget that I was in NJ. I can’t describe it clearly but it’s different there. It’s the people and their overall attitude and approach to life. Maybe the dealer thinks that the spoiler salute makes the car sportier and that it attracts buyers. Maybe they think it conveys speed. Maybe the buyers want to be sportier.

Spoilers up is not a NJ thing. There are three other Porsche dealers in NJ within 25 miles of Paul Miller. None of the other three show their 911s, or other models, with spoilers up. Paul Miller does it because Mr. Paul Miller wants them shown that way. No one really knows why nor cares enough to ask why. To his credit Paul Miller does sell more Porsche vehicles than the others, a lot more.

I think you're right, there are colors which look great on coupes, and so-so on Targas, and vice versa. I love guards red on a Targa, for example, while I find it a bit too much on a coupe.
