I do every 4-5k miles because I like the sound it makes over 5k and it's cheap maintenance the next buyer will appreciate.

Factory says 10K or one year. I do 5K or six months. Clean oil is good.

Every 5-6,000 miles, here. That's 2 oil changes per driving season for me from March-October.

Every 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first, is the UK recommendation with good synthetic oil like Mobil One. I see no reason to do different unless you drive on track or in real bad weather conditions.

I do at least once a year. Got this one in March, drove it 1200 before first change in August, then took an 1800 mile road trip in September. It's a C4 with winter tires and full PPF/ceramic, so I drive it at least once a week for 30 minutes or longer to keep things moving around. I'll have it changed again in the Spring before summer driving season. I'm at 3600 miles or so now and the oil mark hasn't budged since the change at the dealer. Blackstone report was perfect on first change.

Me, too. And I had them change the oil to 5/50 from 0/40, which is better for it, especially here in FL.

Why are the U.K. instructions twice the US recommendation. Less extreme temperatures?

I believe Porsche engineers are best qualified to know what the oil change interval should be. I see no reason why I wouldn't follow their service interval guidance.

Oy. Please do a used oil analysis on Mobil 1 0W40 with that pull change interval. I would be interested to see how the viscosity held up.

Are you planning on continuing to use M1 0w40?
