PCNA voiding of CPO warranty

The dealer has zero info or authority in determining a CPO validity. They just ask PCNA.
It is in the dealers interest to get the car into the workshop and bill some hours. Maybe CPO/PCNA will pay for it (when they call to authorize the work) and maybe you will (because PCNA says 'no').
PCNA have no bullet proof way of knowing where you bought it from. Based on the VIN it will be in the system as CPO....but when they have to start sending money to a dealer to fix things, for sure they will double check how you bought it. Nothing to find - you are good. A BMW dealer popping up on the carfax probably spells the end of the warranty.
Calling PCNA to ask if it's valid will no doubt result in a positive database hit. It's only when money is involved that they may dig a little deeper.
As stated above, technically, and without doubt, the CPO is void.
