Rennlist Grill Install Cost

Buy Zunsport grills and do it yourself. Do a search on RL and you will find lots of satisfied owners. Wish I had done it myself.

I have Zunsport grills as well and I think they look great, and they have a holiday sale going on now.

My detailer put my black Rennlines on for no additional charge, but he had the bumper off for a complete new car prep, which was fairly pricy.
My gut tells me that number is high though. Even at Porsche rates of $150-200/hr, that’s more than 3 hours of labor, which sounds longish to me for bumper off/on and screwing in the mesh.
Maybe I’m wrong...

I didn’t like the look of the Zunnsport. Not very OEM. After deciding to do a third radiator install the Rennlines were a no brainer. Fairly OEM looking. There are instructions on this forum on how to remove the front bumper. If you are mechanically inclined, the front bumper removal is fairly easy. Go to a dealer and look at the gt3 and Gt3rs and look at the grill screens. If you like those, then the Rennlines are a very close match. Take this for what it’s worth.

I use Zunsport as well. I like to spray off my radiators after a track day or a few months of daily driving in my TT, and being able to remove them without taking off the front bumper saves a ton of time. Sure, they don't look exactly like the rear mount grills, but I'm all about function and ease of use. My choice and I have no problem with others that prefer the different options on the market.

And when you see them from eye level they look fine.

Great customer support as well: I needed a screw for the center piece and they sent me 4 at no cost in a few days.

I’ve also seen the Zunes on a GTS at a recent event. If you’re really **** about appearance you may be disappointed. But I still think they are a better option.

I installed the Rennline Grills on my 2016 911. The actual grill install after the cover was removed took about 20 minutes. The removal of the bumper cover with just me was about 45min and about 30 minutes to put back together. It is not a big deal. The biggest PIA's are the removal of the side lights. My 2016 had very little extra wire to reach & disconnect the connector. The other was removing the retaining clip on each side. I suggest that if you attack this project be sure you have something that looks like a screwdriver with an angular hook at the end. I used a set of rug weaving tools purchased on Amazon for abut $10. You will need this to remove the retain clip and reinstall it.
