Generally guessing, I would say 6-8% I received just under 7% for an out of state purchase with no trade or financing. More than likely, you'll receive a deeper discount with a trade or in-house financing to give the dealer another avenue to make a buck.

I purchased my 991.1 S from a private party. It had 5 months of remaining CPO. I called PCNA and made sure the the warranty was transferred. Local P dealer told me it has to transferred to be valid.

In the UK, the Approved Porsche Warranty (CPO to you, whatever that stands for), unlike the warranty from new, is very definitely only transferable if the car is a private sale or through an OPC. It's possibly different I guess when the approved warranty hasn't commenced and is bolted on to the unused balance of original warranty but I doubt it. The unused months of such CPO warranty however, can be claimed back as a refund on the premium by the previous owner.

I think so, at least over here. Surprised me too, thought Porsche covered it themselves.

Look everyone... This isn't what the OP's thread is about. If you want to continue to add the "your warranty is void and all that ensues" conversation, I started a new thread so this one stops getting derailed.

OK, point taken. It is partly relevant though because the OP implicitly refers to the value of the CPO, assumed transferrable, in the transaction.
