If you look at the price of cars as the depreciation, this car could prove to be essentially a free car, perhaps you lose a little bit on the sales tax. I would take this car, keep searching for the manual of your dreams as you can always sell this car essentially the same price you paid for it, pretty easily.
So if you find the right manual car, just take the full loan so you can move quickly, then sell this car an pay down that loan.

This exact thought has crossed my mind but I don’t know the cars well enough to say for sure what resale value will be in, say, 2 years and/or 10, 15, 20k miles later. In 20k miles means it will be approaching 100k miles and may not sell well. Plus, I still ask myself why no one has bought this car already if it’s such a steal.
This car is a great deal.

I have seen 997's with around 100k miles being listed around $40k, which means it was probably wholesale around 32-33?
Either way, the depreciation would be less than a new BMW.

I also own a 3 pedal LS powered C5 Corvette with gobs of low end torque. I can drive lazily in traffic no problem, skip 3 gears, no complaints.
The 3.4...not so much, it starts to surge in power right about where I am shifting (5K) in the 'vette.
Totally different cars in almost every aspect, but I love them both. Porsche gets the nod for being more exclusive, if you like excluding.
