Pros and cons of stage 2 tune
Hey guys.. I've installed full ipe exhaust system for my 991.2 Carrera s. Thinking if I shud do the stage 2 tune as well. May I know the pros and cons? Thx

Pros: Power.
Cons: Power.
Its pretty subjective. Not many stories of engines blowing up on these or testimony of additional lag. Cons could be dealer/warranty/etc. Power is a lot and for the wrong personality type could get one in trouble
Video/pics of exhaust? I have IPE on my 991.1 and it is epic.

Haven't tune my car yet. Besides the power, hows the drive for stage 2 compared to stock? Will the power delivery b much smoother? And will it changed the ipe exhaust note?

Trust all the tuned .2 owners. The sooner you do the sooner you'll thank us all. I suggest COBB stage 2 because that's what i run and am very happy with it. May custom tune down the road but for now this is more than enough. Can loosen the tail end at 30mph no problem.
