Thanks, I ceramic coated them before I got the tires mounted. Ceramic coating is a must with a design like that lol

I have always loved these Vintage Series 501M's. My hat goes off to you for ordering them and slapping them on a 911! =D

I’m not ocd but I like my stuff looking proper. Since I was putting a ceramic coat and had them off the car I figured it’d be best to do the barrels. Ceramic coating is amazing and should keep the barrels mostly cleanI have always loved these Vintage Series 501M's. My hat goes off to you for ordering them and s

Thanks, the car originally had black wheels so why do the same thing if you’re going custom. The whole reason for new wheels is to change up the look. Had to be different and I’m really glad how it came out. Pictures don’t really do the wheels any justice lol

@cayman addict , did you lower the S? If so, can you tell us a little about that?

Thanks.

In general I'm a fan of HRE for Porsche. BBS for BMW.

Ok, I do like the BBS E88's on the 996's and 997's and I like the FI-R on the 991 but I just prefer HRE.

I also feel like given the designs and finish options available on BBS, in general, you get more for your money with HRE.

Has anyone else tried the BBS RI-D on a narrow body 991.2 application?

I worry that with stock 305s in the rear might stick out too much...

You will be fine. It will poke 1.6 mm over stock witch is only 0.063 inches. You won't even notice.

Thanks for the link...Would be really nice if they made that wheel in a more friendly 19” fitment.
