For me the decision was easier as i am based in EU and HREs are quite pricey.

In any case you cannot go wrong with any of these high end wheels.
You can't go wrong with either, but BBS Fi-R is my favourite all time wheel.

Nilaz, they look great. Are the holes a pain to clean?

Not at all. My car has PCCBs therefore there is no brake dust. It is a weekend drive car (5.000 kms in 1 year) and i clean my wheels once per month not because they are dirty but because i want to keep them shinny.

Honestly speaking my wheels wash is one of the best times with my car as every time i admire the construction and engineering design.

The biggest advantages for me is the weight saving vs OEM.

Completely agree regarding the FIRs; have them on my E93 and the car feels much sharper as a result.

Regarding 911s, I feel like it depends on the car.
Whatever is more consistent with the style and purpose of the car would maintain value.

I think BBSs are more style consistent with tracked or trackable cars, GTSs, GT3s, and the like.

My 911 is a cab, and as such more boulevardier than racer. Hence, my decision for the FF04s on the 911. They look better to me than the FF01s, sportier, but not too racy.

My daily (645ci) was in need of new rims - old ones were cracked beyond repair. Decided the best look were the BBS LMRs; the gray matches the paint, and I wanted something durable.

Renno,

I've had good experiences with Pzeros.
The older ones (10+ years ago) were softer compounds and wore out crazy fast.
I don't track the car, its just a friday/weekender.
They're obviously not Michelins, but have you had a bad experience w/ Pirellis?

Thats my OEM tires with less than 1.000 kms when i bought the FIRs.
I plan to install soon MPS4S and transfer P Zero in the OEM wheels to use in track days.

Will do. I went with Satin Bronze and excited to see how it turns out. If anyone wants HRE's call Graham Rahal/GRP and they will set you up.

Both HRE & BBS are unbelievable wheel companies and 1a & 1b in the wheel industry in my opinion. The only downside about the BBS FI-R's is that they come in pre-determined sizes & offsets. HRE custom builds their wheels to order so they have the benefit of not needing spacers for those that want a more aggressive fitment than what BBS offers. HRE also has a very extensive list of colors (over 100) that are completed in-house at their facility in Southern California. Sometimes it's nice to see something other than the same fitment and same color on the same cars over and over. I like to see some variability based on what my customer's preferences are.

At the end of the day both HRE and the BBS have their important place in the market and both will continue to be hot sellers for us. I help present the facts to my clients and allow them to make an educated decision on what is best for their wants & needs.

Are there any official weight specs for the P101SC? ie: Is there any weight savings vs. stock 20s? I know the R101s are the lightweight wheel, but is it a detriment from a weight perspective to go HRE vs keeping stock?

OEM 991.2GTS wheels are quite Light.

If you want to achieve further weight reduction you have to proceed only with LW wheels such as FIR or R101LW.

I have standard S wheels, but just wanted to see if the P101SC's were lighter or same weight, as opposed to adding weight to the car.
