Default Oil leak

I recently purchased a 2013 911 Carrera with 54k miles and have driven it approximately 700 miles. Last week I replaced the spark plugs as it was a straightforward job. Fast forward to today and I noticed oil drops on my garage floor and much to my chagrin I noticed that there is an oil leak. I’m new to Porsche’s however I know that changing spark plugs should not cause this kind of leak. But to be sure, I checked everything once again...valve cover is dry, etc. Is the belt tensioner visible in this picture and could it be the culprit? This has really bummed me out to say the least. Any comments would be appreciative.

I would say give it a good clean with mild degreaser and monitor... Easiest way to find out.

When was the last oil change?
Did you recently add oil?
Does it have PDCC?

Last oil change was in aug, which was performed by the Porsche dealer I purchased the car from. Have not recently added oil. It does not have pdcc. The oil is dropping from the gray part with the two torx (clean now) and appears to be forming inside. I cannot find trace of oil upstream of this. What is the name of that part?

The part is your high pressure fuel pump.

Part #22 - High Pressure Pump

Looks like there is a rubber o-ring that could potentially fail and spring a leak. Like o said before, I do not see any trace of oil upstream of this. Thank you for the information. I did purchase a warranty contract so we will see how well it holds up.

Does it smell like oil, or more odorous?

In your first pic....I see oil above the HPFP?

Not odorous. And consistency of motor oil. The oil you see is the bottom of the hpfp.

In the original picture it looks to be coming from higher area. You can see to the right of it the coolant pipe and even above the sensor area appears to be wet.

I suppose I will need to wipe clean, run engine, and see if I missed something. I did spend quite some time underneath the car and I was convinced that the highest point was the hpfp.

Quick update. The reduced engine power warning finally came on. Dropped the car off at Porsche dealer on Tuesday and they got back to me on Thursday...bad hpfp. I suspect the o-ring that seals the pump to the camshaft bank has failed as well. Genuine Porsche pump they quoted me is $2200! Yikes.
