Minor Damaged Reported...
Exploring trading in my .1 to a .2 and saw this one around my area that I'm interested in. Looking at the Carfax report, there was 1 accident reported. No airbag deployed. Mileage is good, has the options I wanted. I LOVE the interior. Before I even spend that few hundos for a PPI, should I even bother? I know the accident will stick to the car forever and whatever I do with it later when it comes to selling, it'll be considered.
Do you think the listed price of 88k has the accident baked in? It'll still be in warranty for the foreseeable future.. there's some safeguarding there.

2017 C2S. 16k mileage. Chron, PSE, full leather and rest of the usual suspects.

I’m probably in the minority here but an accident to me is not a dealbreaker - it can even be *GASP* a way to get into a nice vehicle that’s been overlooked due to that blemish at a great price point (notice how I’m NOT saying you should pay the same as a NON accident vehicle). Assuming I’m comfortable with the results of a thorough PPI, I’d offered 15% less then what I would pay for a vehicle with a “perfect” carfax/collision history and settle at around 10% (maybe even SLIGHTLY less if it had CPO).Good luck, nice color combo!

A week before I traded my Z in I got my mirror hit. Barely a smudge but the driver ran off so I called the cops.
Could not notice the damage but low and behold the Carfax showed a minor accident.
Just perspective.
