Joseph is an awesome guy and we’ve been friends for over a decade. BMS has been a vendor and working with him on the Boostaddict website for years.

I would trust his knowledge when it comes to parts. He does lots of research and testing with big vendors in the auto industry. Providing data and facts to the table for everyone to see. These parts are awesome and made by one of the leading companies, Tial. I personally have a set of the intercoolers on my 800+hp 991.1 Turbo S

Malahhaor: I dont think they look the same, but assuming for a minute they look identical...How do you know they perform the same?

The IPD has been tested on a dyno and has proven to be a net ZERO overall in gains across the power band.
On some areas of the band the IPD shows minimal gains and on other areas it showed performance below the stock plenum performance.
I cannot speak of the Tial Plenum because I have not seen any data to show it has improvement over the stock part or not.

Visually, the IPD has those golf ball type dimples on the inside of the plenum, the Tial has no such dimples, so it certainly isnt Identical.
There are other visible differences, but you can google the images and see what they are for yourself..

So with you being at let’s say 580whp?

It’s been a bit over a year ... how are things running ? All good? How is the clutch? Are you running meth?

not looking to bash or talk **** ! I am looking into doing the same setup, so seeing your results is amazing ! I am also 7MT so the clutch handling power is critical as to if I’m gonna pull the trigger or not...

love the build

Wow awesome build. I'd love to do the same but I waffle on this being against the ethos of the T.

It's no longer a T. It's awesome, but it is no T...

Everything working perfect. Couldn't be happier. Next addition would be a better POV's and also an Oil Catch for the right side turbo. Next summer I think I will install a DSC V2 controller.
I did have a very noisy lifter every now and then so I changed from the Mobile 1 to the Motul 5w - 40. That fixed the noise.

200kg or 400 pounds! ... does that mean your car is under 3000 pounds... 😳

I assume you mean the boosting of power? If so I couldn’t agree more.

My plan is just get the lightweight savings and improve power-to-weight and firm up the suspension/handling by reduction of weight.

Id consider the TIAL plenum if there was a weight savings over stock OEM part. Does any one know weight savings on plenum?

I don't but the OEM unit is plastic and light. Aftermarket versions are aluminum and will be multitudes heavier heavier. If I were to guess based on size and materials, you're going from 1/3 of a pound for OEM to 1.5 pounds with an Aluminum version.
