Not my first choice (or second, or third, etc.) but not bad!

Yep, that would be me. I would suggest in powdercoat, shocker yellow over a silver metallic base (I'm considering this on my GT3)

or something like this deep burnt orange, this dormant copper sparkle from columbiacoatings.com

I'd definitely prefer powdercoat but most places around here won't do it because it involves full disassembly and the few places that will do it charge about 3-4x more than painting on car w/ masking so I'm not sure if it's worth the premium.. Maybe it is

yeah, because california. I used to charge 400 for a set of 4, including disassembly and reassembly. Since you are in CA, I would check with wheel dynamics mentioned above. they do great caliper paint work.

My only issue with that is it may convey it is a hybrid since you expressed that concern earlier. The car is the primary color, and a nice one at that, so you may not want to draw attention from it....Silver with Black lettering or Black with Silver lettering would look real nice (coming from someone with Miami Blue everywhere, except the Yellow calipers).

I just used Wheel Dynamics to paint my calipers. They did a great job and the finished product looks like stock. They supplied the decals and did clear over. Only have a couple thousand miles so far but they look great and no issues from heat, yet. Turn around time was about two weeks. They use paint not powder coating.

Nice. Paint will work just fine but powder coating is more durable and will last/look better over the long run.

Very nice. The white Porsche script looks fine. Glad to see orange, it looks MUCH better than acid green.
