I just picked up a new 991.2 GTS. I love the car !

I do like the interior on the 992 minus the PDK “****”. The larger screen and digital dash is sexy.

I also like the new rear... may be the minority here.

With that being said I am truly happy with my GTS. May trade it when a 992 GTS is announced and available. I’ve got a few years I suspect for that.

Cheers.

Model for model, the 992 is a genuine performance upgrade over the 991.2.
But from a 991.2 GTS or from an S/X51, trading "up" to the 992 S is not performance enhancing, unless Porsche offers an X51 PowerKit for the 992 S.
I say this, based on the Porsche factory Nordschleife "Ring" lap times for production cars. The 992 GTS should be seriously faster than any 991.2 GTS, S/X51, or 992 S.

I buy a sports car on what it looks like first and as I have said I waited until I saw the 992 before I got an allocation for a 991.2 GTS since I liked the latter better. They are both fast enough cars for me and the more I see the 992 the more I am glad I did what I did.

Going to see the 992 in person later this month, but I really have low expectations. I fear the MT gear lever is going to look massively out of place.

Similar here....I got my allocation and had some concerns that I would be disappointed not to get the latest model. Once I saw the reveal I was very happy I took the GTS slot. May go GT3 next in the new body or RS, but need to see it. May even go .2 RS if the new GT cars don't excite.
