Ceramic coating does very little to keep them clean...it helps when it comes time to clean them but that is about it and needless to say the less spokes to catch dirt and brake dust the better. Have you tried Outlast Brake Dust Repellent? I works well on Silver wheels but not so on Black wheels due to a white-ish haze but it may help those with the funky bronze ones.
Well, I for one AM a fan of Bronze...however still too "muted" to me. I like more pop. I'd be running a champagne or royal gold color on that car. A light shade of gold.
Nice wheel design, I am guessing they are BC Forged or Signature Forged.
I have the same design by Signature Forged, their SV104's but in royal gold on my white TT.
Here's what they look like on a 991:
Same thought here. I like the contrast and “pop” of a brighter color. Here’s Champagne Gloss Clear coat.
Since we're talking colors here, thought I'd show some bronze wheels on my beater e91 BMW. I know OP said no bronze, but I really personally dig the bronze on black, and I had never considered bronze wheels before, either.
love a good 5 spoke showing off the brakes , consider the HRE S107 as well !!
I just seen these. Very nice.
Actually very close to the custom colors I had sprayed on my wheels.
The powdercoater said I should have them back by next week, can not wait to see the difference.
Currently running Vorsteiner FF101 in a modified turbo setup (20x12/9) in a graphite color... will be trying out how these look on the car. HRE 540r in a modified GT2/GT3 setup (21x12/13 20x9/9.5) in the custom powder coating
Pictures coming soon
