2017 C2 PDK SC. I have the GT sport wheel with no stinking buttons period, just 4 stalks and 2 paddles, love it to death. I have voice recognition but I don't use it, it is activated by a very small button on the end of the turn signal stalk. check to see if you have it too.
Does anyone know if you can add multifunction buttons to manual NON PDK car with no multifunction original car. I understand that some modules may have to be purchased, but curious how it would be done if anyone knows.

Same Question - @Joec500 did you get that done at all?
Hello all changed my 991.1 non MF pdk steering wheel to a non MF 991.2 steering wheel it looks great but the paddles dont work anyone run into the same issue checked all the wiring everything connected correctly no warning lights on the dash or codes just the paddles dont work Do I need to go to the dealer for the paddles to work? I was under the assumption that it was plug and play. TIA

My 16 cents (I live in Taxachusetts) and may stir the pot. Why would you upgrade the steering wheel? The 991.1 is the last model WITHOUT any buttons on the steering wheel, a mostly analog dash, and without a turbo. And those are the exact reasons that I bought a 991.1 S. IMO the car is made for driving. It is close to perfection. I do have TechArt coil-overs and high flow air filters but other than that, unless you want to spend a lot of money for minimal further gain there is not much out there for this model. The steering wheel is made to steer the car, not to adjust the radio volume. Although somewhat convenient, these steering wheel buttons are distractions. I can see a slight benefit to having the wheel to change modes but pushing the button on the center console to put it in sport plus mode is not that difficult. The only time I do not like taking my hands off the steering wheel is while I am on the track. But it never leaves sport plus mode then anyway. In addition, I have found that the scrolling button in my wife's Macan S is cumbersome to use.
