For me I want all my sport cars to be a different interesting color. The bolder the better ... Chalk is the mildest color i have had and in person it is much more interesting than in pics

Saw this today. Not sure if it’s Mexico or Riviera but it was stunning.

This resonates with me. I tend to associate a lot of the cool colors people order for PTS these days with the long-hood 911s in the heyday of color choices (1969-1973) vs the 930s and everything else that came later. Some of the more vibrant PTS colors look great on today's GT cars (and other models), but some don't translate nearly as well for me.

Nice catch! This looks like it could be Club Blau or Mexico, or? It's probably a 2019 Carrera in PTS. I know of 2-3 of 2018 Carrera coupes in PTS, at least one 2017 Carrera coupe, and one more 2019 Carrera S inbound. Maybe a few more NB cars—I wonder how many there can be, in total. 15? 25? The number is probably very small against GT3/Turbo/GT2 in PTS. GTS and Targas, too.

^ Agreed. I could see $6700 as a "reasonable" leap from $700 metallic or $3xxx special color for a truly special color. A lot harder at $11,430+. White and Guards Red have never looked so good to me.

I considered one of the PTS blues briefly for my order at the $6,700 price but in the end, I couldn’t stomach the additional delay and decided that Sapphire Blue hit the emotional spot for me. At $11k, don’t think I would have considered PTS at all - other options I would have wanted to roll that $$$ into, instead.

I think the interesting PTS colors look BEST on the basic 911 models due to the simple and timeless shape. It gets to be too much for me when you add wings and vents and intakes and the such.
