In the bottom of the right instrument cluster next to the cruise control is some sorts of distance meter . While driving it goes from 300 to around 150 ft not sure what it is telling me. I have look in manual and haven’t found it

Distance to Starbucks, McDonald's, Chevron, whatever... selected based on historical location tracking and purchase history. Doesn't Waze, for example, already do this stuff on the map? Why aren't car manufacturers trying to get a piece of that pie?

Or worse yet, targeted adds (like plague your browser) that show up on your PCM as you drive by a particular business. I think they have already proposed such a system when walking through a Wal Mart or brick and mortar store; adds pop up on your phone as you walk by certain products on the shelves.
