Aftermarket 991.2 Rear Spoiler Questions
I would like to purchase a high quality carbon fiber rear spoiler for my targa GTS like the Vorsteiner VBR V-GT (which only fits the 991.1.) I like the CF look on my agate grey, I don't want to get involved with painting, changing my rear decklid or drilling any holes.
Does any company make something like this?
And, as my entire car is wrapped in Xpel, how should such a spoiler be installed? Over the Xpel? Or remove the Xpel then install and reapply the Xpel?

If you're looking for a lip, there's a few on eBay with are nice...
Would go over your Xpel. May (probably) mess it up if you decided to remove it.
Luckily, the spoiler isn't a hard part to wrap again.

I was also possibly interested in a carbon fiber rear wing but I dont want to take a chance on something made in china and I dont see anything else around

Moshammer has a new wing that looks delicious, and spoiler nation is a solid option too for 1/5 cost or so

Techart makes a couple of great products, at least one offered in Carbon Fiber and both will allow clearance of your Targa top. Yes, they're a little pricey, but great quality.

Looks great on your car.
I have the GTS mini duck now but Im looking for something more prefer it in exposed carbon fiber. I dont see much available besides some questionable spoilers from china which I am not interested in always sims to be quality and fitment issues.

The tape method will hold just fine. I have installed many spoilers on my BMW M cars and not one came loose or moved. But I dont know if it will mold to the sport design spoiler we have.

II highly suggest seeing on in person first. I jumped to order mine based on pictures. And in real life is looks much different than in pictures. I almost like it down more than I like it up. I use to like my stock one up when my glass roof was back. Now I dont like how that looks at all with this much longer spoiler. It almost looks whale tailish big.
I just got it today so the new look is still settling in. But it drastically changed the look of the car. Pictures dont seem to capture that in my opinion. I like it. But its a big change to me. I really enjoy being able to see it go up and down in my rear view mirror now too. Before I could never see it unless going 80 with the glass top back or cracked open.
