PSE tip gap
Hello -
I recently had PSE installed on my 991.2 C2 and I think the gap between the top of the tip and the diffuser is about 0.5" more than other cars with the same exhaust. Even my service advisor agrees that the gap is bigger on my car, but also tells me that there aren't any adjustments that could be made to make the gap smaller. Is there anything I can do? Is this normal?
Thanks!

Loosen the bolts on the tips, and play around with the angle a little bit. There is some wiggle room. Wear gloves and use some 'slubrication' (WD-40), ETC. You may find an angle that works better for you.

The gap you refer to on your model is much less on my 991.2 PSE.
In order to clean them, I use a wash rag and slip it between the tip and diffuser, can't slip a finger in.

This is what it looks like on mine

so the question is: is it the tips that are too low or the exhaust?

In the case of the OP his exhaust is too low and since it was installed afterwards there is not that much adjustment to make them sit higher, unless he takes it back to the dealer, have them put it on the lift and fix it the right way.

Dealer is looking at it tomorrow, but they're telling me there is no adjustment to make... Hopefully it can be moved up, since that's all I can think about every time I drive the car now.

they should be able to move it up. Maybe they forgot to remove something that is in the way...

Space for bigger tips... Just saying.
