Yep but I would stress the point about involving the dealer if you want warrenty.

Correct. It is my understanding that these dealers work with you on warranty issues that might come up.
But I have yet to hear or read of any warranty issues thus far for any tuned 991.2's...

Give it time, many are pushing the boundaries now and the only way to find them is to go over! I figure in 3-5 years there will be a tremendous amount of updates and understanding as the aftermarket groups figure out the full potential. A good example would be the release of the PDK tune for the 991.1's after the 991.2's were released. The technology of the new cars always draws me in but the knowledge base of the older cars is extremely valuable.

Before I bought my car I test drove a '17 Targa S that had Fabspeed headers and the GAIC tune, which was done at Melbourne Porsche. I talked to the Service Manager about potential warranty issues in the future and he said they would return the car to stock and "do what they could" to take care of a claim depending on the extent of the problem. That is surely more than some other dealers would do but it appeared that he was saying Porsche NA would have the final say on some issues.
