porsches became known as drivers cars well before things like PDCC and RWS existed, and lets be real, the average person here is probably never gonna full utilize the a stripper base 911 to its limits

so i think you will do fine

Have you searched Autotrader for leftover new 2018’s? I noticed several the other day with advertised discount from 10-30k off MSRP. None of them were Chalk, though, if you’re set on the color.

I'm wondering if an offer of 120k is reasonable. It's not certified but there are only 2000 miles on it. My concern is that in a couple years when I'm ready to step up to a GT3 I will have lost greater than the depreciation due to over paying. Then again there aren't any 2018 GTS's listed lower.

I am sure he will take $120k and it seems you really like the car so if you are comfortable with that price I see no reason to wait.

Most importantly, do you like it? If yes, buy it. Others' opinions, like mine, are worthless. Options are very personal so there is no set answer.
But, it seems you see this car as a stepping stone to a different car so why not buy that car now? Just askin'?

Yes, these are not numbered cars and will not likely be highly sought after but the production numbers are quite low. Maybe someone can find the link to the breakdown of 911 by year and model. I looked at the 4GTS numbers and about 250 made from 17 thru 19. 2019 are still being built but if someone wanted one, finding it specd the way you want would be difficult and compromises would have to be made on a car with a high price tag. That is why so many people ordered new GTS cars. If you can negotiate a great price with the dealer for exactly what you want vs buying a slightly discounted GTS with missing options or too many options you don’t want.

I think the base GTS is an awesome car. I have driven a "stripped" GTS and its fantastic however that car was 2019 new and 130k compared to used 122. I think a lot of that purchase comes down to the value you place on the interior. I have full leather interior and I think it is very nice. A lot of the cost of that build is in the extra leather and deviated stitching. If you like the look and feel of it then go for it. Be sure to try out the 18 vs 14 way seats. The 18 ways are some of the most comfortable seats I have sat in. Some people don't like the 18 ways and prefer the 14s. I have PDCC and I don't really notice it all that much. Maybe if I drove two cars back to back it would be more noticeable. I love RWS. I could live without it however. I love having front axel lift. It comes in super handy for where I live. My favorite option is the PCCB. They look awesome. Super clean. Great pedal feel. The GTS coupe isn't a super rare car. I would wait until you find one that really speaks to you.
