Default Would you wrap your Porsche?

I’m thinking about wrapping my Porsche in Gulf Blue. Do people in the Porsche community look down on this? Or is it not that big of a deal. I have a 2015 911 in gray with RUF wheels & it’s on KW’s but I’m installing Air Suspension this weekend. I also have carbon fiber side skirts, wing, front splitter, mirror covers, and diffuser. All of which were not cheap.

I do do not have a good camera although RUF is actually going to set me up with one because they want some pics to use.

I used to have black wheels before. Also the blue Porsche is the color of the wrap.

Don't understand why people care what "the community" would say.

Maybe it's because I'm an old curmudgeon but I don't give a crap what anyone else thinks.

Do what you want. It's your car!

I'd say do it!

Been thinking about it for a while myself. The only thing is that full wrap is not cheap.

Wrap is cool. I just think air ride is going to ruin an otherwise nicely modded car. It sits perfect as is.

While I personally wouldn't do it (why hide the BEST color, Sapphire Blue! ), if you want a different color, I say go for it!

How are going to address the "hard to reach" areas like door jambs and engine bay and frunk?

A good wrap will disassemble the car to wrap everything so you don't have areas that are painted showing. This also obviously costs quite a bit more.

I think it looks absolutely perfect in Grey with those Ruf wheels...superb! I also love the Gulf Blue color but I’m not sure it will look better than this.

Did a gulf and camo wrap on my 997 RS. Just make sure you find the right guy who knows what he's doing when applying it.

Do it if you like it and appeases you, do not care what people think. It's your car and no one else is paying a dime on it that should have a say
If you decide to wrap hopefully you find a really good reputable place that can do that for you.

Personally, I would like to wrap my Agate Grey to like a Military Green and have the carbon bits show and have Black Wheels for contrast myself. that was my plan for the Panamera till I changed mine and sold it for the 991.

Who cares what the “community” says.... if you want it do it !

I will say that my friends who wrap say Porsche’s are tough. Not cheap cars and don’t come apart as easy as a corvette ... use a good shop who knows what they are doing and has a good reputation !
