Recommended shop for PPI on 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera, the dealerships apparently don't do them due to liability concerns. Is Auto Dynamica in "The Woodlands" a reputable shop for a PPI? Thanks for your input

I used expel north Houston. Eric is great to work with. the po had screwed the license plate into the front bumper and they arranged for it to be repaired and touched up while it was in the shop.

I know of a few places in DFW but I can't really help you out in Houston. Just figured I would chime in to steer the conversation in the right direction.

Correct, most shops/dealers no longer do PPI's. Autodynamica has a good rep. Rennsport is a local favorite as well, but they're way out in Sealy. Could also inquire with Eurocar Werk or Motorwerks, but not sure if they do PPI's either.

Luis at auto dynamics is great but I recommend driver source. Call and ask for Steve Ott. Knows his stuff more than anyone I’ve met. Driver source also has a four story car vault with just two of the cars value being over 30mm but shop rate is $100/hr.

Most dealer in Houston don’t do PPI because of a judgement on a Ferrari. Cost shop 30k for a $300 worth of work. Not worth it.

That at being said, if you call a shop and ask them to inspect a car and give an oral report, most will but very few, if any, will give a written PPI.

Also, Houston is a big city, 60miles diameter and 10 million people so easily an hour drive from one side to the other. Katy freeway, I-10, is 24 lanes wide. If you let us know where car is located we can recommend a shop near the car you are interested in.
