RTdeeOC,
If you're referring to the non glass sunroof it was something that attracted me to the car. I'm not a fan of the black glass sunroof because it cuts up the lines of the body to me and I don't car about sunroofs anyway. If it didn't have one I would even save some weight and head room!

You don’t! The passenger gets out in the alley before I pull the car in! I love white cars too! When I found this car at the dealership I knew I had to have it. So happy! I am thinking about having the dealership install PSE though! Thanks for all the nice comments. It’s a dream car to own.

Yep. I went from a 996 to a 991 too. Loved my 996, but love the 991 way more. Good move to bypass the 997. Also same as you, my 996 was totalled when it was stopped. At an intersection and was hit from the rear. Got a good settlement and used the insurance money plus cash to make the jump.

Cuda911,
It thought it was a good decision too! 997 or 991? I found a really nice low mileage 997 (20,000), 3.8 liter 911 S made in 2009, in white and with a Manual Transmission. But this 2012 CPO’d base model with MT and only had 21,300 miles on it. It had enough good options and the 997 asking price was $59,999 and the 991 was $64,900. But it’s was well worth coming up with a few $$ more. I think I will probably add the PSE based on everything that has been said.
