Default 9A1 Bank 2 Misfire While Idling

Sitting at a light yesterday with car up to temp when engine started to misfire, did not stall and appeared to go away after 20s. Drove normally after and cluster errors gone on restart.

Diagnostics reports misfire on cyl 4, 5, 6; anyone with experience on whole bank misfires?

A little more information would be helpful. What year? Model? Miles? Recently filled up with gas? Modifications?

Yes, I might have forgotten that 2013 991.1 CS, no mods, last fueled a week ago.

When were your plugs done? They were due in 2017.

I say plugs or faulty coil pack.

Not quite, but similar. Did it throw any errors? I got an error "Engine control malfunction" P-car dealer checked it, no light, but found misfires cal. 5&6. Happened again about a week later, same diagnostics. Drove it and all was fine until a month later. Dealer couldn't find problem. Kept the car for 9 days. Finally Porsche Germany told them to re-program all the computers. No problem since then. That was 3 years ago. Same car.

Well it got worse fast, happened again but much worse and did not go away.
However this time I got something to go on - P1382 Valve Lift Control, one bank in wrong lift.

So it seems either the lift actuator or sensor is going bad.

Two new solenoids in and car seems back to normal, also idle quality seems to have improved a bit.
New part 9A1-105-308-03, old was ..-02

Hello,
I have a 2010 Base which I believe has the same engine as this one and wondering if I have the same issue. After getting misfires on 4,5,6 I changed the coils and plugs as they were due (130,000 miles). Cleared those codes and the car runs better for a few days and now it throws a CEL with a P1382 code. I swear it doesn't seem to pull or sound like it used to at mid to high RPM;s but that's a hard one to tell from the drivers seat. I am not getting any other codes but thinking it would be a good idea to replace the solenoids at this point.

Thanks for the information

I e read different things. Is this solenoid change just an unbolt and replace, or does it require locking the cams ?

Thanks. So this is for part number 9A1-105-308-03 correct? I'm sorry for so many questions, just at my wits end after this rough idle issue. I've done plugs, coils, cam sensors, 02 sensors, smoke and pressure test entire air side from air box to intakes as well as a full smoke and pressure test on exhaust, plus new throttle body on my 2014 Turbo S. I still get a drop in idle then a stumble often and it's getting worse. I can see that my short term trims on bank 2 will begin to richen up then Lamba bank 2 will begin to lean out and the car stumbles. I don't have a Piwis (ordered one last week) so just using my Cobb for data now. The only CEL I've gotten was a misfire on #5, but only once.

So the VVS solenoid 9A1-105-308-03 doesn't require a cam lock, but the NVS solenoid does require removing valve cover and locking the cam? I hope I have that correct.

Thanks again so much for the help. I had this idle issue start prior to the modifications I've done to my car. I had hoped that the plugs, coils, 02 sensors would fix it when I did my turbos but it didn't.
