Is 1/4 tank really considered low enough to stress components? I always try not to let my tank run too low, but I figure 1/4 tank or even a bit under it is plenty of gas (well ahead of red zone).

These cars feel so much more nimble and light on their feet with low gas (especially being sports cars that shine via their lightness), it's a shame to always be 1/2 tank and above.
