Default Window sunshade

Any good recommendations for a windshield sunshade that covers the front window well? Seems like generic auto parts standard or jumbo sizes fit in one dimension but not the other. I looked through a Porsche Tequipment catalogs and didn’t see anything. Need to protect leather dash and want full coverage. Thanks in advance.

Heatshieldstore.com

Been using them for more than a decade. Custom fit to the car and last more than 5 years each. I use these religiously every day for all four vehicles.

Walmart.

The collapsible circles.

Easy to stow. Under your seat or alongside the seat belt clasp and center console.

About $8.

Those other ones take up the whole back seat.

The Porsche sunshade made by Covercraft works great and I have used the same one on all my cars. In AZ you need a good sunshade. When not in use I keep it on the rear parcel shelf or between the door and passenger seat if I don't have a passenger. It is also on Amazon but dealer will match or beat price.

About $35 on Amazon:

AutoTech Zone Sun Shade for 2012-2018 Porsche 911 Coupe, Custom-fit Windshield Sun Shade
Amazon Amazon

I live in Tampa. It was 101°F this afternoon in my parking lot today, so an effective shade is a must. I’ve found these custom roll ups to work best for me.

The new version of the Porsche part with the full color Porsche logo is a bit ostentatious (even for a 911) for my taste. I’ve been trying to find a dealer that still has the old black logo version.

The nice thing about the “official” Porsche version is that it’s reflective without being as shiny as a strip of tin foil.

In my coupe there is a space between the parcel shelf and rear seat that holds it perfectly.
