I've been driving German cars for...a while. It's been my experience that electrical gremlins are not a million miles away from a sketchy battery on it's last legs. I'm going to guess a combination of 1) 2015 with an original battery and 2) Tejas summers mean a new battery might address weird issues. If it were my car I'd probably be headed to Batteries plus for a replacement.

Obviously this is just baseless speculation (but hell! It's the Internet! It's what we do!!) for the OP as something to think about.

On the car: Beautiful. I can't imagine what that sounds like opened up. Enjoy it in good health and hope the sound issue gets sorted asap.

Yea, it is a new one and it seems fine. I think maybe when they put in the new battery they did something wrong and that might have caused it.

I really had been trying to get a GT3 but with all the IMS problems on the model years I could afford I was reluctant. I didn't know about the 10 year warranty Porsche had put in place or I would have tried harder. But this car is better for me in the long run I think.
