Default New Convert

I have been driving Corvette Z06's and Shelby's since 1999 but have been a closet Porsche fan. With all the disappointment I have had over the overheating problems with my 2017 C7Z I used that as an excuse to UPGRADE. I just bought a 2015 991 Turbo and for the most part I love it. Sadly, on the way home from the Jaguar dealer I bought it at, all of the sound stopped coming out of the system. No radio, phone, nav or anything. And it started acting wonky when trying change sources and so forth. Hasn't diminished by enthusiasm for the car but I have to take it to the Porsche dealer on Friday to sort it out. I have heard that a bad battery or taking the battery out to change it has on occasion caused the system to need a reflash. I hope that is what I have. Meanwhile, never leaving well enough alone, I have contracted with Modernaircooled in Houston to get cat-back, tune and the IPD high flow plenum and Y pipe. Just some boltons, nothing fancy.

Cheers
Randy

Default PIcs of the new car

Driving a Porsche is different. I am going to have to learn to drive fast all over again. Good thing I have a friend that can help with that.

With that motor you don' need no steenkin' radio!
I moved up too, but kept the Z06.
CongratZ!

I upgraded from a C6 ZR1 to a 2014 991.1 Turbo. Loved the ZR1 but I love the Turbo more!

Have you checked the battery? Might be a simple fix.

Do a Cobb protune in combo with all the parts. Should be a good 100hp to be freed up I think.
