Default Rally to the Race

Anyone here joining?

Quite a few P cars on the list. Going to be an epic ride. 130 super cars meeting in Manhattan and driving to AC for the night.

Then the following day everyone drives further south to a track.

Some serious cars on the list. Everything from vettes to Sennas. Even three Veyrons joining. It’s going to be bonkers.

I just googled it and found that registration closed. I think I could’ve gotten that setup and have my wife tag along, drop the kids off at my parents. Seth, keep us posted for anything else like this. Looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah. They closed it a few days ago.

The details are all hazy at this point. They are keeping it quiet until the last minute. To avoid police notice and also to keep it exclusive. I can appreciate that. It wasn’t cheap and they don’t want tag alongs.

They are running it all like total pros. I’ll update the thread with pictures throughout.

Agree. Living the dream.

Im very excited about it all. Obviously.

To be honest I’ve debated bringing the 911 over the 458. In many ways I prefer the 911. It’s just such an incredible car.

I did decide on the 458 if only for the sex appeal factor. My wife also said I’d be a dolt to not bring the Ferrari. Lots of P cars signed up tho.

Agreed, the vehicles that attend are beautiful, the drivers are generally morons. Have fun, be safe, and lots of pics

Well you guys are a lot of fun....

i can assure you ill be super responsible. Especially in this environment. I know bunches of cops are out and I’ll not be taking any chances with my car.

Ive found that the fun I have or the problems I run into are directly related to me and my attitude.

I do appreciate the heads up. I’ll be certain to be careful

This.. Don't participate in burnouts and flooring it for 10 feet in bumper to bumper traffic. You'll be fine. I've found that you mind your own business and behave normally in car meets/cruises you make out ok 99% of the time.. I'll take the 1% risk for some fun... Hell, it's more risky driving around in general in my city with these dumb drivers..

Lastly, don't be this guy:

^Raised spoiler could have been a clue.

Yeah this outing could be "entertaining" in the same way. I bet the ratio of money and car as status symbol to driving skill and race experience is pretty high for NYC.
