Default Multi-function Wheel

Very impressed with the functionality of the steering wheel buttons...so many different options that can be controlled...particularly impressed at the ability to select navigation destinations from the wheel buttons. I like the way Porsche does things a little differently to other premium car makers!

Does anyone want to "upgrade" to a multi-function wheel? I'm converting back to bare-bones and will have the left and right wheel inserts, and a 3-stalk clockspring soon.

I do, but none of my local dealerships have given me a firm ok to do the upgrade programming. Parts are easy, they don't seem to know how to make it work.

It works-I did it to mine (upgrade from basic to multi-function. You need the buttons, harness and control box to make it work.

Personally I ordered the GT wheel without the buttons for the clean, basic/classic look, which is why Porsche picked the same one for the new Speedster model.
