That's a great idea, cheap and easy way to check it out before hand.

Hard to beat a reference to a yellow RS 2.7 with Viper Green graphics and wheel centers, as on the 911R posted by Semitone. Would have to get the right wheel, and not sure what that wheel is...but may require doing the side stripe in green also...
Thanks, Pete. Hmmm - choices, choices...

Latest thinking is Ultraviolet, being a Porsche colour.

Maybe get my 20” Carrera S wheels painted in Ultraviolet, with mirrors to match. Remove side stripes and rear badging in Agate Grey. Research availability of Porsche side decals in Ultraviolet...

5 lugs Porsche wheels in the Marketplace sell for great prices in my opinion compared to the price and limited availability of pre owned CL wheels. I say buy another set and pick a color that is super fun. If you get bored, go back to what you have now.

I like it. Searching around due to this thread, peelable plastidip came to mind (assuming you can custom order your top 2-3 colors). Fairly cheap way to apply on all wheels and decide what looks best prior to dropping the big bucks on the powder coating job.

Thanks, Bemo.

If I get my shortlist down to my top two favourite colours, I guess I could do the summer wheels in one colour, and the winter wheels in another. Would probably get the mirrors painted Racing Yellow in that case, and go without side decals...

Thank you. Will certainly ponder for a little while before making any cosmetic changes...

Add me to the group talking you out of putting purple wheels on an otherwise beautiful car So many other options that would look amazing on yellow. HRE, BBS.. etc.

Or go with the Violet decals first and see how you like them.
