Car Shipping
#31
I tried to move it myself but it was way too long. I am planning to relocate to the west coast again but I am going to use a car shipping service this time. I've been thinking about many different options from Uship and A1A, but I feel like I am going to use Cross Country Car Shipping just because they seem to have the best options in the mean time. They have good prices for a haul this long (I need to ship this car from Maine to LA) plus I can have some of my items from home (my parents live there) be delivered with my car. It's cool since I don't have to pay for USP or DHL or FedEx. The company has some nice reviews as well so I am hopeful that it all will work out. .

Be forewarned that the arrival estimates can vary drastically.
I just bought a 991.1S from San Jose ( I am in Carolinas). Its been on a truck (fully enclosed transport) since last Wednesday and isn't scheduled to arrive till upcoming Saturday.
Make sure the receiving party is fully aware it can take up to 10 days.

About 3 months ago I used Roadrunner Auto Transport to ship a Cayenne from NY to Las Vegas NV. I used open transport for a few reasons. Total cost was about $1800. The car was picked up on a Saturday morning and delivered to me Monday night. That was really fast and unexpected but there you go!

<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->I encountered the same problem when I needed to ship my new impala to Miami, so, I was in search of a suitable company that provides quality service and I was advised to use - http://www.shipaa.com. These guys provide very nice service and good quality of transportation. More than this, all their trucks are new and very convenient for shipping even expensive cars. Also, for me the best part was GPS tracker, I’ve felt myself very calm because I’ve always knew where is my car, So, I’ve paid around 1500$ for everything. I do recommend this amazing service! These guys are awesome!

I've used Grand Turismo Motorsports, though it's been awhile. They provide enclosed transport at better rates than the major carriers. You want to connect with Ken Gold ken@gt-ms.com.

I can confirm this. I left them my car at 11am on Wednesday at Ft Myers RSW, They called me Thursday at 8pm asking if it was ok to deliver the car at 9pm in Mass, I was like Hell yeah and got my car quickly and professionally.

I used Plycar in 2018 to get a Ferrari from San Francisco to Florida for $2500. Was a good experience except that the tracking feature stopped working somewhere in Texas. Turns out the truck was swapped and tracking wasn't enabled correctly on the new truck.

I used Montway a few times cross country and had no issue both in enclosed and open truck forms.
I got a referral from my friend who is in exotic used car business.
Price is pretty good but its all depends on how busy markets are (I assume it's not busy at all these days)

I had a good experience with Dina from Angels Moving Autos. She is a broker, my transporter was actually a Russian couple who moved my 911 from Miami to San Francisco in the time frame originally estimated and the car was in perfect condition when it arrived. Communication with Dina was good and the price for the haul was just under $2k in an enclosed truck.
