I am looking at a car and the first owner put 9K miles in the first 3 months on the car, 4K miles in the first 3 weeks. Second owner put 5K miles in about 8 months. There are about 14K miles on the car now after 15 months. Would this be any cause of concern, typically mileage wouldn't bother me, but that first 4K miles in 3 weeks is nuts. I asked about a DME report and there is only 1 over rev as a Stage 1 on the report and the car has been certified already. Just curious to hear others thoughts.
Coincidentally my T is 15 months old and has over 18,600 miles/smiles on the clock. It’s my sole car and also my favourite car so far by some margin. (I passed my driving test in 1988.) Porsches were conceived, designed and built to be driven, so do just that!
Personally, I don't like a lot of highway driving in my 911. Too noisy and cramped and it is boring on the highway.
Well, normally I'd say something like "to each his own" or "different strokes for different folks," or something similar. But in this case, I have to say, your opinion is objectively WRONG! Or at least, it depends on the highway.
Rush hour stop and go driving on a highway is certainly no fun, even in a 911. But a curvy highway with no traffic, a good radar detector, and Waze? Oh yeah, that's good times.

I have access to nice twisty back roads. I have been commuting on highways around Boston for 25 years. I am just fed up with highways around congested cities. If I have to do that, I (now) prefer a quiet soft car.

FWIW the day after we bought our Cayenne, Mrs. drove it to NC to see the grandkid, then back, about 2,400 miles. My '17 Carrera is on a 10,700 mile per year pace.
What a guy. I think you mentioned DDD in one of your posts, one of our favorite shows. Liking to drive and liking to eat go together. We often drive 50 miles for breakfast. Also, Mexican is our favorite food. Our ‘18 has over 10k miles. Sorry to turn this into a food post.
I put in my financing paperwork for the car I mentioned in the thread title post, so I officially would like to change this thread to the "I drove 200+ miles for this food in my 911." Please continue with your delicious pictures.
