I wanted to keep using my oem floor mats with red stitching but wanted to protect them.
So I found clear floor mats on Lloyd website. I ordered them but have yet received them. I hope they will show the red Porsche logo & red stitching nicely while protecting them.
IMO the Cocos look best in a car with a stock interior to give it that classic look, and the Lloyd's look best in one with modifications/cosmetic updates for a more customized look,
Lloyd fan here too. They look oem but feel just better!
I'm surprised to see so many people running rubbers and Weather tech all year round. I agree with the protection in the winter, but in the summers too? Weather techs just cover to much up.... as much as I like clean floors, and I do, I dont see the point of keeping the carpets perfect for the next owner if you aren't going to enjoy them yourself too!
These are my two choices i want to go with, in black and red, but cant make the decision :O
I had the cocomats in black with the silver trace in my M3. They were ok, but I never really warmed up to the look. Cocomats are great mats though; very heavy. If they still make them like they used to they were something like 7 lbs apiece lol.
FWIW I think that checkerboard in a 911 looks awesome in the picture, but I'm not sure whether I'd like it every single day, though.
I've had these for 5.5 driving seasons. Love them. I just gave a set to BradB last month:
These are the first item I ordered for my Targa. They are excellent and a permanent addition to my car. I never did care for carpeted floor mats. They just get yucky over time in my world.
