No, tune via your OBD for a while now (I have it and many others here have it as well). I am running the Stage 1 93 octane tune and I have no desire to try Stage 2.

When did this change? I thought you needed to send the ECU in to get unlocked before you could use the Accessport?

I have mine installed since this past December, which was not long after it was released. I had a Cobb on a past car and the customer service and tune are top notch so knew I would be happy, and I am. Prior to then though you are correct in that you had to send them the ECU, but those days are over!

They made the change a while back as Bob Z said. Having sent in the ECU myself, not having to do that makes the process SOOOO much more convenient and easy. We sell APs as well as tune the platforms with them
