Horrible 0-60 times .2 GTS Coupe
So I did three 0-60 runs and the best I got was 3.8 using dragy. I did two with launch control and one in Sport mode which was the fastest at 3.8. With LC I got 3.9 and 4.0. With LC the car just kept losing traction and just would not stick. I had a passenger with me so 360llbs between the two of us. I have the original Pirellis with 7k miles which honestly I haven't looked at to see how much tread in on them. The car is currently having HF cats and the Cobb tune installed and should be done by Thursday. I know these cars are capable of low 3's in stock form so what am I doing wrong?

Did you message me on the dragy app? I think it was you.. I've got the bugs bunny avatar.
I'll try to be of help;
1. Your tires suck
2. Try it on different roads.. Concrete vs asphalt is different.. Certain roads my car grips like an animal and others it's spin city.
3. Use manual mode and learn to hit those shifts.. Leaving it in D causes premature shifting.
4. Try PSM sport or PSM off.. My best run came on a PSM off pull in manual mode
I've got a 2.9 somewhere in my GTS but I just need to find the correct slope and nail that 1st/2nd shift in the PDK.. If you look at the yellow G meter graph you can kind of see where you're going wrong.. On the east coast your car should be a bit quicker too/
My best run so far on a positive slope:

I messaged you regarding the custom tune... Thanks again!
Will try the above when I get it back but it'll now have the cats and tune so results will be different. What tires you running?

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's.. 38psi hot. Stock Pirellis are only good when brand new. Once they've been driven hard once or just after 1k miles they're toast. Very squirmy tire.
Lose the passenger too!

Tires and tire pressures are key for launch
Pirellis are not the best tire (said nicely)
Run 30/33 psi cold and see what happens.
Magazines are FOS and they report rollout times with DA correction
3.08 is bad to the bone

Try doing a run or two headed down hill. That should speed you up.
Is this something you're truly worried about? There are so many variables that could split that last second... tires, air temperature, road grade, road material, wind direction, weight (when was the last time you moved your bowels?), amount of gas in the car, tire pressure, tire temperature, etc. 3.8 sec is plenty fast. Drive on!

This 100%. I had the Pirellis on my base 991.2 and I'd spin the rear tires everywhere in the dry....I hate them, they're such a liability. I put on the Michelin 4S's, and they are very sticky. Swap out the tires, let them get a few hundred miles on them and try again

Aren't cup 2’s stickier than 4s’s? Looking at the tread wear 180fcup 2’s)vs 300(4s) id assume 2’s are much stickier.

Yes the Cup 2's are better for performance. They're also quiet too. PS4S much better in wet conditions.
