Default Panic button alarm didn't disarm after starting the car

Today, when I unlocked and entered my car, the alarm went off. I assume it's because the Panic button was triggered inadvertently. I reached for the ignition and the car started, but the alarm didn't stop. It took a bit of cycling through a variety of lock/unlock/ignition states to get it to turn off. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks!

Yes, just one time a couple months ago; however, it must have been a fluke since I could not reproduce it.

I am able to reproduce this. If I hit the panic button with the car unlocked, i can start the car, which doesn't disable the alarm. I have to lock the car and unlock it to turn off the alarm. I wonder if it's lojack related.
