Greetings, I have been lurking for some time and finally decided to get a 991.1 C2S w manual and would appreciate your thoughts. I also have a question about a car I am close to b buying. Seller appears very legitimate, He is second owner and has all the maintenance records. The last service was at 23K and I've attached it below. I'm thinking that I don't need a PPI? Normally I would just do it anyway but he is 900mi away and I don't have time to take it to a dealer. I'm thinking he will take 70K, 72K at worst
Thank you in advance for any advice and I look forward to being a more active member.
That's what I imagine to be a very rare and desirable build combo, but I think it would be a crime not to get a PPI and you may face financial punishment down the road for skipping one.
And please get clear LED side markers.
Would you buy a house without a home inspection ? You are excited and that is a very pretty car. Hold it with a 1k deposit while you work the process. Ensure you get a paint meter reading, black box inspection for rev counts as part of the process. Fly where it is at and inspect the vehicle and THEN hand the gentleman a check for 70K.

And be sure to have the spoiler operation checked since it is up.
I agree with LexVan about the DME Report at the very least I would have the seller provide an inspection report from a Porsche dealer.
Appreciate The feedback people. If he accepts my offer I'll have him drop it off at his local dealer and I will fly up and finish the deal. Thanks again!

Well worth flying up and checking the car out yourself. I just bought a CPO from a dealer on the opposite coast and was just going to have it delivered. Instead I did go out to test it myself and got them to fix a couple of things that I was surprised the CPO process didn’t pick up.
Saw that car posted in HFS and it's REALLY sharp. Good luck. Get a PPI. Appears to have been purchased at auction with 7,200 miles on it which sounds like an executive demo car. No harm on that but you never know how those guys treat the car, so definitely get a DME report.
