Just looking at online numbers..
I have more HP and More Torque
I am faster 0-60
I have an AWD GTS which should hook up better off the line.
Ferrari is lighter
More Aerodynamic
Has a V8 compared to an inline 6
I would think it would be close, but who knows..

On a high speed roll the ferrari is a beast. The targa top/awd/pdk weight will start to factor in above 100. I bet its close. 0-100 from a stop i would bet on the gts

I agree, the 458 is a monster. I’ve driven one a couple of times and it’s one of my favorites and hopefully my next car after I sell my Hellcat. I can come and be the camera car with my Hellcat, even though both cars will eat it up.

Superdog: You are comparing your stock GTS to the 458. Anyone with a modified 991.2 will tell you its a different animal completely over stock.
My car has Cobb Pro Tune, Headers, Sport Cats, Exhaust, BMC Filter, Lightweight Wheels, PCCB and DSC module. Fairly modest mods, but a gain of 100hp over stock easy.

I don’t know how long I could hang for, but I have a new GoPro I use and it’s great. I’m certainly down for that. It’ll be close, very close, between you guys. Superdog has my cell number already, so keep me in the loop guys.

Glad to see the thread got back on track. One of the reasons I don't post on here much anymore is that there are far too many arsehole posts. Can't we just stop being ****** to each other? Before I got into the 911's (two 997's and then my 991.2) I had a BMW M Coupe (the clown shoe). I actually miss that community as much as the car. They treated each other with respect!
Anyway, I for one am glad to see that someone is modding this platform and showing what these motors are capable of! Post more videos and be safe out there!

Fwiw, my 458 vs my 911 GTS Targa both stock, based on feel alone the Ferrari is blisteringly fast. The GTS is fast. And imho more fun to drive. But the 458 is bonkers.

From 45 roll, my car stock took a stock C63 (biturbo). 30 roll with F90 was closer than I thought; 2 car length loss after 120.
From a dig, this thing is a heart breaker with a good launch.
Agree with P, car puts down power very efficiently.

I'd love to have some play time too! My modded 991.1 does well against stock 991.2's; and yes I know a tuned one would pull on me like a freight train, (don't care) but would love to play with someone if anyone is in the Carolinas
