I actually did not pick european delivery, but coincidence that i have a conference there in may and the car will be delivered to me in june, so there is chance of me visit the location where its actually being built or will be in final stages of built then or maybe even on the way to port.

Don't any of you guys in the US have 5 phases of construction? So far all I've seen is 1/4 or 2/4 etc.
In the UK there are 5 phases with phase 2 being the Porsche Experience Day. This involves a day at Silverstone Race circuit and the option to try all different 911's with an instructor and then alone plus a 3 course meal.

It needs to get to Sheerness dock where all non GT Porsches go for PDI then on to your dealer who also needs time to prep it etc
My dealer (Guildford) is manic at mo due to no of cars being collected before financial year end.
Which dealer are you with?

From memory I think it’s been about 6 / 7 weeks from stage 3 to collection from the dealer.

Stage 4 includes your invitation to Silverstone circuit for your Porsche Experience Day, which in terms of distance is similar to mine from south London. Bit of a pain but we’ll worth it based on previous experience.
I’m going in early May.

That was my second choice and a real toss up between a classic look or a ‘get out of my way’ Shark Blue. Had a 911 on a shopping list for a long time but have a business that a Porsche is not a good look parked outside. Now I’m about to retire, bring on the flat 6. 😁

When is/was your lock? Mine locks tonight with an estimated delivery of 6/10. I’m really hoping that gets pushed earlier. All these deliveries and photos are making me so jealous!

Shouldnt a 992 conversation be held in the 992 forum? I never understand bring up these old threads here and then talking about the new model. Weird.....
