What kind of rental cars do you drive 😁 I do love a good MT, but the PDK + 991.1 NA engine in sport and sport+ is pretty amazing as well

Hi, I’m new to Porsche world, but have a build date of 14th April, also on stage 3 of 5. Once the car is started build, how long does it take to complete and then get to the UK? Thanks.

From memory I think it’s been about 6 / 7 weeks from stage 3 to collection from the dealer.
It needs to get to Sheerness dock where all non GT Porsches go for PDI then on to your dealer who also needs time to prep it etc
My dealer (Guildford) is manic at mo due to no of cars being collected before financial year end.
Which dealer are you with?

I’ve bought from Cambridge, who seem very busy too. Mine went to stage 3 on 28th Feb so later part of April is posible, which lines up with their build date of the 14th April. Are you waiting for a T too?

Yes - mine arrived at the dealer yesterday and is being whisked off for PPF this morning.
Stage 4 includes your invitation to Silverstone circuit for your Porsche Experience Day, which in terms of distance is similar to mine from south London. Bit of a pain but we’ll worth it based on previous experience.
I’m going in early May.

I’ve got my experience on Tuesday, had the invite when it went to stage 3. I’ve gone ceramic coating, and then will ppf vulnerable bits locally. What colour have you gone for?

That was my second choice and a real toss up between a classic look or a ‘get out of my way’ Shark Blue. Had a 911 on a shopping list for a long time but have a business that a Porsche is not a good look parked outside. Now I’m about to retire, bring on the flat 6. 😁

When is/was your lock? Mine locks tonight with an estimated delivery of 6/10. I’m really hoping that gets pushed earlier. All these deliveries and photos are making me so jealous!

Shouldnt a 992 conversation be held in the 992 forum? I never understand bring up these old threads here and then talking about the new model. Weird.....
