911T - Track tires
Looks like my summer isn't gone as crazy at work as I had thought and I'll get to make it out to the track. Anyway, what tires are you guys running at the track on 20's?
Thanks

I believe your options are
Michelin Cup 2 (what I ran for quite a while)
Michelin Cup 2 R (very expensive)
Dunlop Race Maxx 2 (what I'm running rn)
Pirelli Trofeo R (expensive)
Toyo R888R (in 255/315 sizes, hates low pressures when cold)
and maybe RE71 Bridgestone if you're willing to go 295 rears?
I think there's also a Hoosier fitment but that I know a bit less about since I always drive to the track.

nice list.
I also like either the Cup2's or the Race Maxx 2's.
RE71R's are also a cheaper and longer lasting option although slightly slower.

I would pick the cheapest set and go from there. They are all good and if you do this enough, you'll be buying a lot of tires and you can cycle through different brands and pick out what you like and what works the best for you, your car, the tracks you drive and your budget.
If you aren't going to do this a lot, get the Sport Cup 2's. If you sell the car, folks think Michelin Tires on a Porsche are the shizzle....

I will throw one more into the mix. The Nankang AR-1. This is supposed to be the "hot" new tire and has been very popular in Europe and Asia. Unfortunately, OEM sizes aren't out yet, but should be soon. I will be trying out this tire once its available
