Completely understood. At some point everyone who tracks their car asks themselves this question. A GT3/GT4 is just another iteration of what you already have. The next question beyond that is, "Should I get a dedicated track car with a roll cage, fuel cell, etc.?" Sounds like someone is about to tumble down the rabbit hole.

Also is the Radi-CAL kit available for the 991.1 C2?
We do offer both types of brake kits for the 991.1 C2, both Road and Competition, and both types of kit are based around AP Racing Radi-CAL calipers. You can see the full menu of options for your specific car here: https://www.essexparts.com/my-vehicl...ra/Iron%20disc

I guess the other question is, Road vs Radi-CAL kit? Main difference I see is that the Road kit has dust boots and the Radi-CAL weighs less. Won't those dust melt during repeated track use?
We have a great article that compares the two types here: Which type of AP Racing brake kit is right for me?
Both types of kit are great options, and which one you choose depends on how you use your car.

Generally speaking, dust boots can melt on the racetrack. That typically occurs on OEM calipers because the rest of the stock brake system isn't up to the task of track use. The discs are typically undersized and don't flow much air, leading to searing pad temps, which leads to extreme heat in the caliper pistons, dust boots, caliper seals, and brake fluid inside the caliper. If the discs are far larger and more efficient, as in our system, they run considerably cooler and don't heat the pads and caliper nearly as much. It all depends on how hot everything gets. The Road Kit's 380x36mm discs are extremely beefy and flow a ton of air, and to my knowledge we have never seen anyone get them hot enough to damage dust boots.
