I'm the tallest dwarf in the family, standing at a whopping 5.7.
A perpetual fretter when it comes to a sitting position. It took me about 9 years to settle the DD and it has nothing to do with gauge visibility.
Since I'm going on 3 years with the GTS and 1 year with the M3, I have a while to get comfortable.

My wheel is low enough so I have no problems with the gauges

I have absolutely no problem seeing the top of the gauges through the steering wheel.

Now, seeing over the dash, that is a different discussion.
